I greatly enjoyed the room with a window opening to a terrace. My bed was very clean. The location was lovely, next to bars and restaurants, a lively area close to the center and main historic sights, and all the tourist attractions.

The location was good for traveling around Rome, so close to the quiet magical `` Monti '' which is defiantly the best location to stay @ Rome as well as the Vittorio Emanuele square. It also was in a great neighbourhood. Got a lovely and extraordinary breakfast included: )
Its breakfast certainly should 've been was n't included in our rate.

Quiet location but within easy reach of sights, transport and restaurants etc. Nice rooftop terrace. Comfortable beds.
That if you were staying less than three nights and wanted to use the kitchenette facilities in your studio or apartment they said they would charge 30euros. This was never indicated anywhere in the booking process and I think they should be more transparent about it; part of the attraction of the place was that we could have done our own cooking, but I did not want to if that meant I was going to be charged (too much, in my opinion) for the privilege.

The hotel had a central setting close to the Colosseum. We appreciated the suite provided with a separate bedroom, a double bed plus shower. - Extremely helpful and attentive staff created an elegant atmosphere.

Extremely helpful owner who gave us maps, directions, where to eat and where to avoid Clean rooms with a lovely view of the Piazza where the locals met in the evening. Safe area close to the Cavour Metro and we were totally at ease walking around the area of the hotel at night. There were good inepensive restuarants nearby some with music. The kitchenette was an added bonus for making breakfast, cups of tea and light meals and it was equipt with a fridge and all the pots, plates cutlery that we needed. Beds were very comfortable and shower nice and hot and they provided towels. Defintely value for money
Too close to a wonderful Gelateria which was only 2 euros for two scoops and we coudn't resist the delicious ice cream at least three times a day!

The location is great, within a 10-15 minute walk from an ancient Roman amphitheatre, and the breakfasts are fantastic, especially the cappuccino.

The atmosphere of Residenza Leonina was perfect for the location of the city. We very much so enjoyed our stay and would go back without hesitation.
Perhaps more art work on the walls

Staff was very professional and helpful, but not particularly warm. Apartment had a very small kitchen, but well equipped for cooking, but not cleaning (no dish soap or towels). Room was cleaned once during our 4 day stay. Nice neighborhood, a little difficult to find. Walking distance to Coloseum (10 minutes) and Trevi Fountain (15 minutes).
The couch and chairs were old and saggy, not comfortable,

The hotel was quirky, right next to the Cavour metro station. The room was upgraded to a normal double with a large wardrobe and a terrace. The breakfast was extraordinary with cappuccino. The team was exceptional and kept the space fairly clean.

Even though we arrived after 6pm (when the staff is normally gone for the evening) and they emailed us a code to get in, they still had someone waiting to greet us when we arrived and showed us to our room. A nice special touch. I found the people in Rome incredibly kind.
I ended up with a sore back from the bed which lasted the rest of my trip. However, my husband preferred the hard bed, so I guess it is a very individual thing.
